Yummy Easy Wheat Cereal!!

I don't have a picture of this cereal because it's so good I eat it before I have a chance. So here is the recipe.

Crockpot Apple Cinnamon Wheat Cereal

Spray crockpot with PAM (very important to do this otherwise you'll have a hard time cleaning your crockpot afterwards.)
2 1/2 cups Apple juice
2 1/2 cups water (I add 1 cup more just to be on the safe side)
1 cup wheat
1 tsp. cinnamon (I added a little more)
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
You could even try All Spice but, I have never tried that.
last 2 hours of cooking add chopped Apples and rasins.
Now you have 2 options on how to cook it. You can cook it on low for 14 to 18 hours. OR you can cook it on high for 10 to 12 hours. Cook until the wheat berries have popped.

Plain Jane Wheat Cereal
6 cups water
1 cup wheat
Cook on low for 14 to 18 hours Or on high for 10 to 12 hours.
When ready to serve eat it like you would oatmeal (brown sugar, milk, butter, or however you like to eat your cereal.)

If your wondering if your kids will like it. I am sure they will. Carter loves both versions of this cereal, and it's really easy. Have fun using your wheat for something else besides bread.

I'm excited and scared! I have about 10 hours before breakfast. I think I'll try it.

Mine didn't turn out so great. The berries didn't pop. Taylor loved it the girls had a different opinion.
