any takers?

Does anyone want any of these? You'd have to crack them yourself. Or you could make your kids do it. Oh I mean LET your kids do it.

Yummy Easy Wheat Cereal!!

I don't have a picture of this cereal because it's so good I eat it before I have a chance. So here is the recipe.

Crockpot Apple Cinnamon Wheat Cereal

Spray crockpot with PAM (very important to do this otherwise you'll have a hard time cleaning your crockpot afterwards.)
2 1/2 cups Apple juice
2 1/2 cups water (I add 1 cup more just to be on the safe side)
1 cup wheat
1 tsp. cinnamon (I added a little more)
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
You could even try All Spice but, I have never tried that.
last 2 hours of cooking add chopped Apples and rasins.
Now you have 2 options on how to cook it. You can cook it on low for 14 to 18 hours. OR you can cook it on high for 10 to 12 hours. Cook until the wheat berries have popped.

Plain Jane Wheat Cereal
6 cups water
1 cup wheat
Cook on low for 14 to 18 hours Or on high for 10 to 12 hours.
When ready to serve eat it like you would oatmeal (brown sugar, milk, butter, or however you like to eat your cereal.)

If your wondering if your kids will like it. I am sure they will. Carter loves both versions of this cereal, and it's really easy. Have fun using your wheat for something else besides bread.

Monson wiggles his ears

I don't know if any of you heard this story about President Thomas S. Monson wiggling his ears at the priesthood session this last April. I have been wanting to see it for a while, and found it on you tube. It is really funny. I hope you all enjoy this.

look at me being all crafty

Hey everyone! I made a Halloween craft so I thought I would share it with you.

CRAFT MATERIALS:
Black acrylic paint
Ornamental (miniature) pumpkins
Black and white craft foam
Hole punch
Glue dots
Black duct tape
Toothpicks
Wooden skewers

1. Cover your work surface with a drop cloth or newspaper, then paint the pumpkins. Allow them to dry completely.

2. For each bat, snip two identical eyes from the white craft foam and use the hole punch to make pupils. Adhere the eyes to the pumpkin with glue dots.

3. Cut matching pairs of ears and wings from the black craft foam (our wings are about 6 inches long). Attach the ears by taping a toothpick to the back of each one, leaving about 1 inch of the toothpick exposed, then inserting it into the top of the pumpkin.

4. Finally, tape a skewer to the back of each wing, leaving a 2-inch point exposed, and push it in place.

I found it in the Family Fun magazine.

hey hey Sisters!

What was your favorite part of Conference?

AND I recorded the pioneer day celebration with the Osmonds. Okay they make me smile. Old and cute and they still sound good.We could sing "She ain't heavy" (no weight jokes please) "She's my sister".
Here's one for ya. They had some of the same moves 50 years later.
